We are delighted to announce that Jon Aston will be competing in “Dakar 2013” #Dakar2013.
Car number 337 will be driven by Jon’s friend Austrialian Geoff Olholm from Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort (www.coconut.com.au).
Geoff is Team Boss and Driver, Jon is Co-Driver, Navigator and Bush Mechanic.
The car is a Race Spec Toyota Hilux pickup which has been custom built by Overdrive (www.overdriveracing.be) in Belgium.

Following a successful shakedown and a 6th overall in the car category in Morocco during Oct 2012 there are high expectations of the Coconut team for Dakar 2013.
We wish them all the best and hope to see Jon back safe and in one piece because he has code to write for the new Telestat 7 Call Logging System.
