Keep track of data

Linking network connections: How can I keep track of data from multiple sites?

The nature of business is changing, expanding beyond many companies’ wildest dreams; while many firms once operated from a single site, more and more are branching out into new towns, across counties, and even internationally. While such expansion is, of course, excellent for those looking to trade on the global market, it isn’t without its issues; being able to keep track of data, and of calls, is relatively easy when all information is being received to one site, but what happens when communication is suddenly divided between a variety of locations? Is it possible to track data across multiple sites, and to ensure that agents are working productively?

The answer is, ‘yes’, as long as you can establish a successful network between each site, and have a little knowhow regarding the kinds of software that can be used. We’re here to help, so do read on…

How we can help

In one instance of our Telestat Call Logging software it is possible to log information from multiple phone systems, as long as a constant network connection is maintained between the main site, or head office, and any remote sites. This is incredibly useful for two reasons; the first is that you can stay in contact with, and receive updates from, any of your offices, regardless of where they’re located – whatever call data has been logged, you’ll receive it in seconds via a secure network connection, and can monitor performance, productivity, and results as if you were standing in the very same room. Secondly, when all call date is collated in one place it is far easier to run reports, and to use a leaderboard to monitor success; rather than relying on individual sites to transmit their data you will see everything in real time, and be able to perform analysis quickly and conveniently – ideal when there’s a lot to keep track of. Such technology is becoming incredibly popular in head offices across the country, and the global market, and enables businesses to expand far further, and more easily, than they ever may have dreamed before. Offices with multiple sites both nationally and internationally are benefitting from the ability to log data across networks, and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t too.

Mitel’s range of controllers, including the Mitel 3300, work in a similar way to our own software, giving businesses the flexibility to deploy all manner of business software – including call logging programs. The controllers act as a media gateway for much larger networks, and can connect to all services, trunks, and legacy connections. In short, they’ll ensure that each department of your business is connected, and communicating, with ease and efficiency – ideal if you need those sites to be sharing information effortlessly.

As the world of business continues to change, expand, and integrate, so too does the technology many firms are using in order to keep up, and to stay connected; are your sites communicating? Is data being handled in the most efficient and convenient manner possible? If not, please do come and have a chat – we can help!
